Dr. Singh is a Registered Clinical Psychologist who obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Regina. Completing her residency training at Vancouver Coastal Health, Dr. Singh received education in a variety of evidence-based treatments for depression, post-partum disorders, anxiety (social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic), disordered eating, personality disorders, as well as psychosis. She later completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the DBT Centre of Vancouver where she provided Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to adolescents and adults who struggle with borderline personality disorder as well as other concerns. Dr. Singh also has a keen interest in research and has published multiple articles and book chapters in the area of health anxiety, Internet therapy, and postpartum depression. She was awarded funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research as well as the Ken Bowers award for top graduate student research project from the Canadian Psychological Association. To further her research pursuits, Dr. Singh recently worked as a Research Associate at Yale University where she studied intimate partner violence. Dr. Singh is delighted to join the team at the Center for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and guide new clients on their journey to personal growth and development.
