OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) involves intrusive thoughts (obsessions) that intrude into an individuals mind and cause a great deal of anxiety or discomfort, which is usually reduced by engaging in repetitive behaviors (compulsions).

POST - TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health problem that may emerge following a frightening or traumatic experience.

ILLNESS ANXIETY DISORDER

BODY DISMORPHIC DISORDER

  • Body Dismorphic Disorder (BDD) is a body-image disorder characterized by persistent and intrusive preoccupations with an imagined or slight defect in one's appearance.

SPECIFIC PHOBIAS

  • A specific phobia is an intense and unreasonable fear or anxiety about an object or situation. It is often treated using cognitive-behavioural therapy or exposure therapy.

PANIC DISORDER

  • ​Panic disorder refers to recurrent, unexpected panic attacks that involve stressful physical and cognitive symptoms, and behavioural signs.

EMETOPHOBIA

  • Also known as the fear of vomiting, emetophobia is a phobia that causes overwhelming, intense anxiety pertaining to vomiting. 

DEPRESSION

  • ​Clinical depression is a complex mood disorder caused by various factors, including genetic predisposition, personality, stress and brain chemistry. 

INSOMNIA

  • Insomnia is a sleep disorder that is characterized by difficulty falling and/or staying asleep.

GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is characterized by persistent and excessive worry about a number of different things.

AGORAPHOBIA

  • Agoraphobia is a type of anxiety disorder in which you fear and avoid places or situations that might cause you to panic
